내 작품에서 나는 대전이라는 소우주를 기록하고 표현한다. 외국인으로서 나는 다른 관점에서 이 도시를 볼 수 있는 주변인周邊人이자 관찰자이다. 나의 주관적인 필터를 통해 나는 일시적 고향인 대전의 숨겨지고 거의 잘 보이지 않는 세부사항들, 순간들을 그린다. 내 목표는 이 작고 상징적인 창문들을 통해 내가 받은 인상을 표현하는 것이다. 개인적으로 기념이 되는 물건들과 함께 섞여있는, 작고 하찮아 보이지만 중요한 순간들. 내 작품들의 전반적인 특징은 일종의 포근한 친밀감이다. 내가 고르는 소재는 항상 지극히 개인적인 것이다. 나는 내게 이 도시를 대표해주는 장소, 물건, 사람들에 대한 기념품들을 만든다. 관객들은 이 물건들의 소리를 들으며 동시에 그림을 본다. 그들은 이야기의 주제가 무엇인지 전혀 알 수 없기 때문에 상상을 해야 한다. 나는 대전에서 그린 그림들을 종이상자 속에 넣고 상자들을 사운드 모듈에 연결한다. 나는 작품에 속하는 소리를 녹음하고, 그래서 그 작품은 시청각 작품이 된다. 처음에 관객은 벽에 걸린 상자 속에 든 그림만을 본다. 그 다음에 상자를 열면 사운드 모듈의 스피커가 켜지고 관객은 그 작품에 소속된 소리를 듣게 된다. 

In my work I record and show the micro universe of Daejeon.
 As a foreigner, I’m an outsider and observer who could see the city from a different view. Through my subjective filter I show the hidden and almost invisible details, moments from my temporary home: Daejeon. My aim is to show my impressions through these small symbolic windows. Small, seemingly insignificant but important moments mixed together with personal mementos.
 My oeuvre is characterized by a kind of cozy intimacy. My choice of subject matter is always exceedingly personal.
 I make mementos of places, objects and people which represent the city for me. The viewers hear the sounds of these things and see the painting in the same time. The visitors have no idea what is the subject of the story so they have to imagine. 
I place my paintings from Daejeon into paper boxes and connect together them with a sound module. I recorded the sound which belongs to the work so the result is an audio visual work. 
 First the viewer just sees the painting on the wall in a box. Than when the viewer opens the box, the sound module speaker turns on and heard the sound which belongs to the work.
